The Concept
Extending healing arms the SENIOR FRIENDS AND SERVICES™ way
The SENIOR FRIENDS AND SERVICES™ concept does exactly that – we work with our clients’ doctors to help improved the quality of life through non-medical practical care.
For the past two decades our family-centric SENIOR FRIENDS AND SERVICES™ goal to assist our clients live in their own homes as they age and live a better, fuller life has been realized time and again.
The SENIOR FRIENDS AND SERVICES™ approach is holistic and responsive to the needs of real people with real issues who need some assistance in maintaining independent lives in their own homes.
The SENIOR FRIENDS AND SERVICES™ process begins by assessing our clients’ needs and then assigning a home care professional. We work closely with our clients, their families and their physicians to develop a care plan tailored to the individual’s needs. The SENIOR FRIENDS AND SERVICES™ philosophy is based on the belief that home care satisfies basic human needs to remain independent with age, in a familiar environment and surrounded by caring individuals.
SENIOR FRENDS AND SERVICES clients are either private-pay or have long-term care insurance and in some cases veteran’s benefits. Care is provided in clients’ homes or in retirement communities, rehabilitation facilities or assisted living quarters.
The list of SENIOR FRIENDS AND SERVICES™ areas of expertise are extensive and includes companionship, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, bathing and dressing, ambulation assistance, respite care, dementia care, hourly and live-in care.
It is our experience that with the many changes in insurance reimbursements and shorter hospital stays, there is an increase in the number of referrals to home health agencies.
Those interested in a SENIOR FRIENDS AND SERVICES™ franchise will find plenty of support, including information on the regulations associated with the industry, how to attract and retain health care workers and how best to market.
